01 — A LITTLE ABOUT ME

Rooted in Devon,
open to the world.
​
Based in Braunton, North Devon — surrounded by beaches, big skies and wild moorland — I travel across the South West and beyond to ceremonies in the most special of places.
​
Before becoming a celebrant I spent 35 years in education, including headships. My days were filled with people, stories, emotions and big moments — learning how to truly listen. That experience is at the heart of everything I do now.
​
Because being a celebrant isn't just about standing at the front. It's about understanding people, reading the room, and holding space with warmth, calm and confidence.
​
Every ceremony I write is completely
bespoke — shaped around your personalities, your story, and what matters most to you. No templates. No copy-and-paste.
02 — THE REAL ME

Certified romantic.
Failed surfer.
​
I am a sea-glass finder, sunset lover, dog and cat parent, mum to three wonderful grown boys and three amazing step-children — plus wife to my wonderful (and very patient) husband Paul.
​
I am positive and resilient, having personally navigated many of life's journeys — children, divorce, bereavement, cancer, to name a few. Those experiences have given me a deep empathy for the paths we all walk.
​
It's a privilege to now support others through their most meaningful moments, whether joyful, challenging, or somewhere in between.

With a career spanning three and a half decades in education — including headships — I have spent my life understanding individuals, holding space in big moments and quiet ones, and learning how to meet people exactly where they are.

That skill, that empathy, is everything in this work. I am un-flappable, warm, and completely at home in life's most meaningful moments.
